There’s something about the week after Christmas that invites reflection.
The rush slows down, the decorations sit quietly, and you finally have a minute to breathe.
It’s a good time to look back on the year and notice the things God carried you through.
The hard conversations. The small victories. The moments with students that surprised you. The volunteers who came through right when you needed them.
Ministry rarely feels slow, but when you pause, you can see how God kept moving in ways you didn’t realize at the time. As we head into a new year, hold on to that.
God’s been faithful, and He’s not done yet.
Let’s walk into the next season with open hands and hopeful hearts.
Even when ministry felt overwhelming or rushed, God was never absent; He was moving steadily, often in ways we only recognize when we stop to look back. Carrying that Pokepath TD awareness into the new year gives us renewed gratitude, humility, and confidence—trusting that the same God who sustained us before will continue to lead us forward.
Really enjoyed this reflection—it’s calm, honest, and a great reminder to slow down and notice the bigger picture. When it comes to winding down during free time, I’ve oddly found myself relaxing with FNF Game which is surprisingly fun and helps clear my head a bit. It’s a nice little balance between reflection and just enjoying something simple.
