In the past I’ve blogged about the four topics every youth pastor should cover with their youth group. But then I thought – I bet there’s a ton of people who don’t know where to look for curriculum, games and program ideas on these four topics. Here are some recommendations in each of the following 4 areas from here on Download Youth Ministry:
- Purpose/Identity (click here for resources on this subject)
- Sex/Relationships (click here for resources on this subject)
- Apologetics/Doctrine (click here for resources on this subject)
- Tough Topics/Questions (some resources here, more here)
There’s at least a place to start! Would love your comments pointing to specific ones that have worked for you!

We just—as in twenty minutes ago—finished our Spring planning session, and these four topics are four of the five series our high school groups will go through. The best part is that our leaders did most of the heavy planning lifting and came to those on their own. Man that feels good!
That’s SO great to hear! Yeah!
Would you say these are the same 4 topics you’d want to cover in a Middle School setting too, just altered to their experience?
This post is really very helpful for the ones who write about the topics concerned with the youth. Beginners who want to do blogging or any form of discussion can take help of this useful post. Thank you very much for this resource.
Get ready for a memorable soccer experience with our small world cup competition.
I think these topics are very impressive until now.
