I was recently talking to some high school students about how things have changed since I was in high school/college. Today, it’s all about how you ask someone to a dance or a date–the more creative, the better. When I was a teenager, it was about making the date creative (hence, the title of a book that a buddy and I wrote–Creative Dating).

Someone sent me a link to this marriage proposal… it’s really clever/fun/inspiring to involve so many friends/unique/etc…. Hope you enjoy (BTW: I rarely watch a video over 3:30 and I watched this several times).

Set up: On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent’s house for dinner. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He “wanted to play her a song”…
