GUEST POST: Shelter from the Storm

As my son and I are taking shelter from the storm in our tiny bathroom, I am reminded of how BIG our shelter is in God. Life may throw curve balls at us and catch us off guard. But in Him, each and every one of us can find shelter from the storm.

It doesn’t matter where you have been or what you have done, there is an Almighty God who loves you right where you are. He is ready and waiting for you to come running to His arms, seeking shelter. He wants to lead you and guide you into being the best you you can be, and live the best possible life you could live. In His word, He lays out the way to the abundant life, life flowing with milk and honey in every area and all we have to do is turn to Him, turn to His word, to LIVE it out!

As you live it out, every area of your life and ministry will be blessed and overflowing with joy, not because the music and lighting were just right, and not because everything was perfect & ran smoothly. No, but because God’s word is just right. It is the way the truth and the life, and He is perfect!

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1)
