Gathering: Day 2

Just headed to a little Chic-Fil-A lunch during Day Two of The Gathering. We’ve had a great morning, talking about the role of a state mentor. It’s been great dialoguing the 5 C’s of community and brainstorm about where we’re going from here. The funniest moment was that this year we’re fining people for funny things like an unexcused bathroom break, a cell phone rining or being from Texas. The cool part is that all of the fine money raised goes to help bring a Kenyan youth pastor to PDYM this year. I already owe $21.

Highlight so far, aside from connecting with amazing youth workers, was watching a clip of Glue Boys. Powerful.
