This was one of my favorite videos from last summer in our youth ministry – the actual One Direction song was hitting fever-pitch-mega-huge right as we released our parody and it crushed with our students. We even did a live appearance as the group at summer camp. But this summer … we’re not going to the same well again! We’ve been thinking about doing another music video parody but honestly we want to change it up – I think that’s the right call, too often we just cruise with what worked instead of what is better or right.
