2 Stories Not to Tell Your Kids at Bedtime

Don’t ask me how I know this, just believe the following words of wisdom.

Here’s two stories you don’t want to tell your young kids at bedtime. Your wife might not forgive you, and you might have to deal with professional counseling for years to come.

  • The prophet Elisha being teased for being “bald” and the she-bears attacking and eventually killing the young boys who did the teasing. (2 Kings 2)
  • The story of the wisdom of Solomon in the story where he offers to cut a child in half to settle an arguement between mothers. (1 Kings 3)

Just wait until their older to break those out. Trust me.
