Video Game Review: Open Season

OK, so video games based on movies are never great, but my son just had to have this game and for his birthday yesterday we scored the title on the 360 for him. After about 2 hours later, the game was just about complete.

And it’s fun! Oh, it’s a kids game through and through, but sometimes its fun to play a Burger King game or an Arcade title. The graphics are average, the mini games are average, the voice acting is below average, the sound is average and fun factor is slightly above average.

But what more should you expect from a release like this? I would say it was right with my expectations, a delight for my kids and an easy way to crank out a pile of achievements. An enjoyable, if decidedly average, game. C+
