Doug Fields has been serving in youth ministry for over 30 years. Doug doesn’t believe students are just the future of the church, he believes they are the church and the leaders of TODAY!
At the Student Leadership Conference, Doug encourages students not to wait until they are adults to go after what God is laying on their hearts. Through hands-on leadership experiences, inspirational speakers, impactful worship and peer discussion, students are empowered to dream and plan for immediate leadership impact in their churches, schools, communities and beyond!
Because Doug knows what it’s like to be “in the trenches” of every day ministry he never wants a youth worker to do ministry alone. His hope is that the Student Leadership Conference is a catalyst for strengthening your existing student leaders or beginning a student leadership focus in your youth ministry.
One of the big messages students will hear at SLC is that leading is actually more about serving. Our speakers and the experiences at SLC will help students identify ways to serve with their gifts and unique calling, so that they can be the leaders God designed them to be!
