One of my favorite reads from this past week was from Andy Blanks called Fight for Margin. Just Don’t Waste It. Part of the reason I connected to it is the season of life and ministry I’m in right now – 4 little kids and running our high school ministry – margin is rare and savored right now. Here’s a clip from his post, head there for the whole thing:

Margin is not the same as leisure. My margin is not spent on fruitless pursuits. I could name them, but I’d only offend you. And while I don’t necessarily want to do that, I would like to challenge you to think about how you spend your margin.

I have come to understand the value of a rich life. It doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by maximizing the time spent in your margin.

Margin is valuable. Margin is profit. Don’t waste yours.
