I have a new friend, and we spent a little time together lately. I’ve worked with him some over the past few months, enough to see his heart and his wisdom. Impressive stuff.

trust2We spent a little time together today..I had a few critical questions and lots of high expectations. I found lots of great questions and discovered some necessary insights. Meeting was great.

One of the things he said was that he’d not broken a confidence in more than 20 years. Great stuff. he also said, “and I’m proud of that.” I like that too.

Very few have the right kind of pride.

Too many have hollow confidence propped up by worthless vanities.

Back to the tough thing: never betraying a confidence. 20 years of never breaking a trust.

That’s character. That’s a faith that matters.
